Jones & Co was founded by Andrew Jones in 1996 to deliver distinctive business advisory services to a wide variety of different organisations. Our partners’ credentials are set out below:
- Andrew Jones is an experienced business adviser/consultant who specialises in working with organisations to help shape their business strategy and improve their performance and profitability.
He has a proven track record of delivering high quality services to his clients, both in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors, and is well-respected as a high quality and trusted provider of professional services.
Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1986, Andrew then enjoyed 10 years within the owner-managed business unit at Coopers & Lybrand, providing a wide range of business advisory services to SME and Middle Market clients. During this time, his experience included secondments to The Further Education Funding Council and Coopers & Lybrand's office in Kampala, Uganda.
On leaving Coopers & Lybrand, Andrew founded Jones & Co where he has developed his passion for working with SME clients. He often develops a long-term relationship with his clients who are looking for sound independent advice and ongoing external support with the growth of their business.
- Heather Jones joined Jones & Co as a full equity partner in 1998, with particular responsibility for performance reporting assignments. With over 20 years of experience in the SME and larger corporate world, she initially qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1986 before moving to her first line role in industry at Dairy Crest in 1990.
From there, she moved to British Steel plc, initially within the Internal Audit function, and then as Finance Manager of the International Distribution Division. With responsibility for systems development and performance reporting, both within the UK and Eastern Europe, she gained invaluable experience over a number of years.
Jones & Co also has a number of key associate relationships with experienced consulting and other business advisory professionals with whom it works to meet specific client assignment needs. These relationships allow us to bring specialist expertise to our clients where it is required.
